If you’re a student or a professor, you’ll definitely love how close to your university the neighborhood is located. You can live off-campus but still don’t waste much time on commuting, which you’ll especially appreciate during exams when cramming is particularly unbearable. Transportation
The majority of what you would need is within walking distance from downtown. If you enjoy longer walks, you can reach Lower Columbia College within 20 minutes or so. Additionally, city transit is available
Schools
In Cowlitz County, many of the schools are close to residential neighborhoods. Considering the majority of high schools & elementary schools, commuting will be fairly easy. For areas not as close to these schools, there are likely bus routes to get your young ones to and from school.
